What a woman needs…
Kiss me with no purpose
Touch me without a hidden meaning
Lay next to me just to absorb my essence
Just to be captured by my being
Hold me with no promise of tomorrow
Listen to me when there’s no words
Be engaged in my person
Attentively watching as our love unfolds
Love me not in secrecy
Unashamed to have feelings for me
A love so unconditional
I am not just a desire but a need
Never allow me to doubt your priorities
God first then me
Provide and protect
In your eyes I see and feel security
Let peace be felt in your embrace
Let calm be heard in your voice
Let no one come between us
Securing my place as your only choice
Have eyes for only me
See me more than physically
Hang on my every word
Longing for stories yet to be told
Be inspired by my goals
Involved in my life
Motivated by my dreams
Knowing my likes and dislikes
This is a lot to ask
Much to require
But no mountain too high
If I am your heart’s true desire

A Big Girl’s Blues
The blues does not stem from being big
Nor does it have to do with weight
But with living out our purpose
And succumbing to our fate
God gives us each gifts and talents
To use to do his will
But if we let life worries detour us
Our life’s plan we will not fulfill
In this book only one hindrance is discussed
Rather it be weight or appearance
Obedience to God’s will is a must
The world didn’t give you your talents
And the world can’t take them away
To hide them and not bear fruit
Is not God’s plan nor His way
To allow the world's views
To keep you from God’s promise
Can not be used as an excuse
For the call that God placed on us
We must move in faith
Proceed in stride
Because what God has for us is for us
And in him our dreams come alive!
